"Article about the Danish's Visit"

When I heard my teacher, Ms. Huck said that there are going to be visitors form Denmark coming to visit our school, I was very excited and wanted to think of a lot of questions to ask the Danish people to get to know them. Also, Ms. Huck gave me a job that I have to ask Ms. Colon, the Student Government coordinator for some giveaways for the Danish visitors.

The day finally came. I went to Ms. Colon for the giveaways -- "I pass them all" key chains, and pens for the visitors. When I came into the room, the visitors from Denmark were lined up against the wall. They introduced themselves with their names and ages. Many of my classmates and me introduced ourselves with a question that we chose to ask the Danish Students. When it was my turn to introduce myself, I was very nervous, I made people laugh. I asked the Danish Students if there are immigrants in Denmark, what are their races? The teacher of the Danish students answered my question fully; I was surprised that there are so many races of people in Denmark. Suddenly, the bell rang; we all have to go to our classes. I was depressed and didn't participate very well in my 9th period class.

The 9th period class was finally over. I went up to the 4th floor from the basement with an excited heart, I joined them. We walked to the South Street Seaport and the teachers separated us with groups of four. I was with Vicky, Alicia and another Danish girl. We went to "Accessories Express" for some earrings, necklace and other supplies. Then we stopped at the food court for a drink and talk about the visit; we even talked about our personal secrets. I loved to be with my partners from Denmark. We all gathered in the food court at about 5:00 PM, we had some food and we talked about the trip. I even taught a Danish boy to eat Sushi, it was fun. At first, the boy didn't want to eat it; but then, he got used to the taste and had a lot.

I love my trip with the Danish students, and those two teachers with them. I could still remember the laughing voices we had in the food court and the funny stories my partners told me. I could never forget this trip and the Danish visitors, also the jokes that the Danish teacher told. What a fun and exciting day I had, I didn't even go to my track meet that day (my coach yelled at me the day after). I wish they will come back next year.
