In the story The Wife's Story, the Wife in the story had many feelings, The wife experienced love, questioning, joy, and many other feelings.

 In the beginning of the story, the Wife felt loving when she met her husband. She loved his virile voice, and she said: "That's one things I first loved about him." Then she felt joyful after she loved with her husband. "I'll never know a joy like that again." "And all I can say is, it was the happy year of my life."

After the happiness of the family, the Wife began to question her husband. Her husband woke up in the middle of the night and said he was going hunting, but the Wife does not really believe in him, she questioned, "It wasn't like him, even his voice was different." "Not so much that he went, but that he come back so tired and strange. Even he smelled strange." After the Wife discovered the strange things about her husband, she also began to fear her husband. When her daughter cried and cried to hide her husband and said, "Make him away!" She saw her husband transformed into a man! Her husband became her hateful one; she had terror inside of he. "I was trembling and shaking with a growl that burst out into a crazy, awful bowling."

The Wife was hoping and hoping her husband can become alive and change back to a wolf to live with her. But, her dream didn't come true, only the dead man lay on the ground. neither the Husband nor the Wife could control the Husband's impulse to turn into a wereman.
