A Gift With each new day is a special gift. You fill me with love that is such a lift. For everyday and in every way. You are my gift my gift from the sea. How could i dream that it could be me. For in every great gift there is a price that is paid. I know I have paid it in every way. With Blood Sweat and Tears I have paid. For that gift in my own way. Some gifts are big,some gifts are small. Some gifts are short and some gifts are tall. But with every gift there is a price that is paid. God paid it dearly in his own way. for he loved me to the end, an end i never knew. That is how i love you this is true. I want to know that I love you so. For you are my gift, my life my all. I wake up in the morning. I wake up to the sky. I wake to see the daylight shining in my eye. I know there are many gifts. So rare and precious too. When wake in the morning knowing that i love you. For with the dawn comes love first glance. In the morning I wake and i find romance. and in each waking our of every passing day. I find you there in my heart the gift that is straight away. For I know i have paid many a price for each gift that God has given. But you are worth each price that is paid because you go on living. There are many gifts that are big and many gifts that are small. But the one thing I have is you to love is all. But before i lay my head and go to sleep that night. I wish for a rainbow this is true. | I wish that i could always love you. I wish in my heart all that world that be. I wish for the love of you and of me. For in each great gift there is love this is true. Just remember that i love you. I wish for the rain so the crops grow strong. I wihs for kittens that play all day long. I wish for a dog that digs up his bones. I wish i had a friend when i am home alone. For each new day i know what i have. I have you in my heart that is what i have. As the day comes to a close. I wish for you to be my rose. I wish to give you all that you need. so you will feel loved that is the key. so your heart is never empty with love this is true. Knowing that i love you. For you are my blessing from above. Sent to me by the God of love. You are my wish my dream my all. I know with you i will not fall. For as my heart beats each day.
