On the ragged edge
of the world I'll roam,
And the home of the
wolf shall be my home.

Most species of wolves are social animals and live in packs. The leader of the pack is usually the wolf that is exceptionally clever and strong willed. You can usually pick out a future pack leader in a group of pups by finding the ones that take charge of the group and and show a strong sense of curiosity.
Wolves generally mate for life, but in the species that run in packs only the dominate pair mate. Mating by the other members of the pack is severly punished. The other members help rear the pups, hunt, and help protect the pack.
This is my section on the recovery of the Mexican Gray Wolf. I post all the latest news that I receive about this program, and I have a archive of past news from when the first wolves were released up until the present. This section means the most to me, so I hope everyone enjoys it.
