~ICE CASTLE~
Long ago was a place called Let's Pretend. It
was an ice castle and the home of a magical swan.
The castle was shaped like crystal prisms.
When the sun or moon would shine beautiful
rainbow hues could be seen for miles and miles.
A beautiful swan lived there and had for many
years since she was a duckling. She was waiting
for her mate to return though in her heart she
knew he was gone forever from her.
Their was a beautiful lagoon below the castle
and she could be found swimming around in
it night and day. The water was warm and had
magical healing powers. So she could stay
year after year in comfort with food plentiful
as well.
One day a car approached and stopped. A
pretty lady got out of the car and walked to
the passengers side. She opened the door and lifted
out a small boy her son. His name was Jimmy, and
he was a very sick boy. The doctors had informed
his mother that Jimmy was dying of a rare disease.
Like all mothers she was heart broken and this place
was her last hope. She carried Jimmy to the waters
edge and gently undressed him and helped him into
the healing waters, then bowed her head in prayer.
During this time the swan had swam over to be by
Jimmy's side as she knew why they were here.
Jimmy reached over and petted and held the swan
with such love and tenderness that it made the swan
cry her magic tears falling into the water.
Jimmy's mom pulled him up and out of the water and
gently dried him. Jimmy was holding and talking
to the
swan all this time. When Jimmy was dressed he said
to
his mother he wanted to stay here forever with his new
friend the swan. She looked at him and said but
we have
no where to live and no money to stay with.
The swan looked up and spoke the ice castle is for you
as long as you want to stay and food is plentiful here.
Jimmy will get well if you stay. He needs more
baths in
the magic water to be well. And if you both stay
here
you can help me when others come to be healed by
the mineral waters. They said yes and they all
lived
happily for many many years. Years later
Jimmy
became the keeper of the magic waters and with the
help of God a healer and hope giver to many.
