|
|
YHWH is the spirit in which we live. The earth is our mother on which we live. Love them both and know them - take heed and tend them. Take care of them for they take care of us.
|

|
|
YHWH created all things and we are the tillers of the earth
|
|
...and there was not a man to till the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. And YHWH formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. [Genesis 2:5-7]

If we do not defend our earthly home, we are not in YHWH's wishes.
|
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which YHWH giveth thee. [Exodus 20:12] The "milk" of this statement is to do as your parents raise you to do. The "meat" of our commandment is to honor our Heavenly Father by keeping His commandments; and to honor our mother is to be good stewards and take care of the earth because it is our mother.
