If you didn't know, it was the Wellington A Grade Stockcar champs. There was only 2 visiting drivers. 51s and 18p. After the first two races, going into the last, Brain Musgrove(11w) and Wayne Hemi(1nz) were top on points. Then, at the start of the Third race, Jeff James(81w) smashed Wayne Hemi right up the wall which crushed Wayne's hopes of winning the title. Donald Gregory(3nz) doing a couple of untimely spins, but recovered well to finish with two 2nd's. There was mayhem on just about every corner. Allot of fast running cars were put out for the whole night. There was also abit of contact between the std's and A grades in the Stockcar all in. They put on a great show.
