Erosions process
The region has 37.2000 hectares of truncated agricultural lands that make
7.9% of the total agricultural area. The program for land protection from water erosion
and other kinds of land degradation was worked out in the region with the purpose of
erosional processes decreasing. According to this programme 890 hectares of area planned
for alkalinization of riversides and 1357 hectares - for forestation. To the present
moment 537 hectares has been alkalized and 189 hectares has been forested. It has been
foreseen the making of documentation for introduction of agricultural soil-protected
systems with the contour-reclamation organization of the territory in 234.7000 hectares.
Such projects for 160.000 hectares in 66 regional farms has been already worked out.
Besides indicated measures to avoid the development of erosion processes and restoration
of the washed out lands fertility, the State board for ecological safety appealed to the
certain boards of the regional state administration of the washed-out plough-land and
plough-land on the slopes with more than 10 degrees by means of alkalinization and removal
from agricultural use for improvement. The total area of this conservation is made 14.9000
hectares.
