My town is named Dubna and it is situated in the Moscow region on the banks of the Volga river. In 1996 it has performed 40 years. My hometown isn't big (about 75000 persones) but it's very beautiful. You can see it in some photos here or on official page of Dubna: http://www.dubna.ru. In Dubna inheres The Joint Institute For Nuclear Reserch. The history of town began from it so Dubna is called "the town of physicists".
Although our city and is not distinguished by sizes, here is situated the largest of saved monument of V.I.Lenin...:) It stands on the bank of the Moscow channel. Before there was the same monument of I.V.Stalin on the other side of channel, but as you understand it was crushed...
In summer Dubna changes in the most bicycle city of Europe... On this type of transport are moved practically all, as from children and finishing professors and academicians...:)
The particularity of Dubna is also low criminality level, so you may walk in the streets not only daytime, as well as at the moon...romanticism..! :)

| One of the most beautiful places of Dubna is Ratmino. Pine forest, river, sun - the best place for rest that you can imaginate. For people wanting to correct their health and simply to repose there was built a hotel. |  |

Several years back in Ratmino was restored the church - Temple of Praising of the Saint Virgin Maries. |
| Also there are horsetables in Ratmino, where people divorce famous akhaltekinets horses. |  |
