From that junction, the road after a slight bend, goes straight through the commercial area and reaches the railway station on the other end. Local residents have built their homes behind this main street and another short side street. Shops in town supply essential items! The Resthouse Slim River is the district administrative town. Somehow being the only accommodation in the region, the Rest House gets to be more renounced than the town itself. Before the current trunk road was straightened, traffic passed through Slim River town to continue on a winding road that meanders along with the "Slim River" to Slim Village! The Rest House is located at the start of this winding stretch to Slim Village that leads beyond to Tanjong Malim! |

This Rest
House is a building with a spacious lawn.
The land is on high ground among other governmental offices, such as the police barrack and vocational training school. |
The building is in the shape of a double "L" with center block acting as dinning cum conference room!
| This is
the view of the interior of this center block. From the picture and the one shown above, it can be seen that the contractor for this Rest House has kept the establishment in very shape. |
