Old Resthouse at Baling

Baling, the name that most people would associate with the communist leader Chin Peng surely such a remote township needed a Rest House

Nestled beneath the massive solitary hill was this tiny building, next to the police station.

The location, size of building and group together with the police station brought back memories of the mood and settings for those days

This 4 rooms building was very well equipped for its size. While no guest was seen that day, the garden and the whole surrounding showed that the place was well patronised.
A confirmation of our earlier statement, look at the tiny dinning hall! It is kept ship shaped!

The place served as reminder of the past. With so much modernisation in progress, the Rest House was then an evidence of how things were like long ago!
