Kuala Selangor Nature Park - This place is ideal for students, growing up children and overseas visitors. Those making their way through must be aware that the area is a natural habitat and animals shy away from human beings. Therefore some experiences is needed to spot the wildlifes, contary to the common expectations of an enviroment close to that of the zoo! Combine your visit with seafood and lots of other places worthwhile seeing in the vicinity.
Taman Negara National Park - The boat ride into the park itself should be interesting. The park has cleverly created an oasis of urban conveniences in the middle of wilderness. Visit to many jungle based enviroments are carefully structured with minimium exposure to risk. Ideal for urban folks seeking for that adventurous getaways.
Tasik Bera Conservation Wetlands - This surprisingly is a gigantic inland lake without a large body of water. Such terrain and ecology makes the place unique with large diversities still protected from exploitations. Off course large game fishes are rapidly depleted and so are the graceful ornamental species. Yet there more than one care to search. This destinations is well suited for nature lovers, those keen on pursuing specific interest
The Mossy Forest - There are such forests well hidden in the most pristine ridges. The sights within the forest trigger off imagination of a weird or magical kingdom. To most first time and causal visitors, it is this mood that they are interested. However the presence of humans and their walking around the sensitive floors and through the forest will trigger off damages faster than it cam rejunvenates. Not surprising that few people are willing to talk about them and no signage existed to locating them
Kenong National Park - A "compact" and little known National Park catering for those hard core adventurer. Only for those who loves the great outdoors and can go without modern conveniences. A great place to be without wasting too much time covering great distances between interests.
Kuala Gula Bird Sanctuary - Almost the last refuge in Peninsula for wildlifes. Thanks to its remoteness and little economic interest, this vast trait of coastal forest still permits large flocks of birds to breed and be seen. Specifically reserved for bird lovers. Movements around the area is by hired small boats, slipping through forest and mudflats at estuaries, can imagine the type of scenes and who should go!
Endau-Rompin National Park -Another outdoor destination for those who like living under the stars, river trekking and hiking. Off course, the labour will be rewarded with scenes that only those in the priviledge group had encountered. The trips are very safe and surpervised by forest rangers or guides.
Belum Forest - What Kuala Gula stands for the coastal region, Belum is the unspoilt interior of Peninsula Malaysia. There are few tours services and all caters for those who love nature and jungle living. Not suitable for causal visitors
