Comprising of a 7 family,These sharks have 2 spineless dorsal fins,an anal fin,a short mouth in front of the eyes,5 pairs of gill opening,and nostrils with barbel.The pectoral fins of many species are specially adapted to 'walking' on the sea floor and they are found in warm-temperate and tropical waters,with most species occuring in the Indo-west pacific.At least 6 species of collared Carpetshark belongs to the family Parascylliidae,blind sharks to family Brachaeluride, Wobbegongs to family Orectolobidae,At least 12 species of lingtailed carpetshark to family Hemiscylliidae,The single species of the zebra sharks to family Stegostomatidae,nurse sharks to family ginglymostomatidae,and the single species of the whale shark to family Rhincodontidae.

Comprising of a 7 family,These sharks have 2 spineless dorsal fins,an anal fin,a long mouth extending past the eyes ,5 pairs of gill opening,eyes withour nicititating eyelids and nostrils lack barbel.they are found in cold to tropical seas,with most in coastal and oceanic waters.Goblin sharks belongs to family Mitsukurinidae,sand tiger sharks to to family odontaspididae,Crocodile sharks to family Pseudocarchariidae,the single species of megamouth sharks to the family Megachasmidae,Thresher sharks to family alopiidae,basking sharks to family cetorhinidae,and mackerel sharks to family Lamnidae.

Comprising of a 8 family,These sharks have 2 spineless dorsal fins,an anal fin,a short mouth in front of the eyes ,5 pairs of gill opening,nicititating eyelids and nostrils that usually lack barbel.These are the dominant group of sharks and they are found in most cold to tropical seas,as well as in fresh waters.Catsharks belongs to family Scyliorhinidae,finback catsharks to family proscylliidae, False catsharks to family Pseudotriakidae,Barbeled houndsharks to family Leptochariidae,Houndsharks to family Triakidae,weasel sharks to family Hemigaleidae, Requiem sharks to family Carcharhinidae,and hammersharks to family Sphyrnidae.
